Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose HPMC is a non-ionic, water soluble cellulose ether. It is widely used as thickener, protective colloid, stabilizer, suspending aids and water-retention agents in many industrial applications. It enhances water-retention, besides providing well-balanced properties including open time, slip resistance, adhesion, good impact resistance and shear strength.

Multiple uses of HPMC.
1. Stucco: added as a substitute to replace natural paste, retain water and increase viscosity.
2. Coating: As a plasticizer of rubber coating, it improves operability, fluidity and bright color.
3. Spray coating: prevent the raw materials of cement series or latex paint series from sinking, improve the fluidity and achieve the effect of use.
4. Secondary products of cement and gypsum: used as a binder for the extrusion molding of hydraulic materials such as cement and asbestos series. Improve fluidity and obtain uniform molded products.
5. Others: It can be used as a bubble retention agent for PC version.
