Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC)
HPMC is a non-ionic cellulose ether made from a natural polymer material cellulose as a raw material through a series of chemical processes. It has the properties of thickening, bonding, and moisture retention. HPMC in cement mortar and gypsum-based slurry, mainly plays a role of water retention and thickening, which can effectively improve the adhesion and sag resistance of the slurry.

Application field
