Product Description

Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose
(Hydroxypropyl)methyl cellulose is a thickener for aqueous and non-aqueous systems, clear films with grease resistance,binders,lubricants, steric stabilizer and water retention aid. Dissolves in water, undergoes reversible gelation upon heating, non-ionic, does not complex with ionic species and is surface actuce and enzyme resistant. Solutions are pseudoplastic.


Application
We can apply it in cement mortar to increase the dispersability of cement and sand blender.Otherwise it also help water retain in mortar to enhance moisture, such kind of operation is conductive to prevent cracks and enhance the strength of cement.
It can be applied in ceremic tile cement to increase the plasticity of it, increase the viscosity of glue and prevent it becoming powder.
We can use it as coating material, so as to improve fluidity of the coating material and glue relay to the base.
It often used in gypsum slurry to improve water retaintion and help workers process easily.
